Abstract
The centrosymmetric molecule N,N'-hexamethylenebis-(3 -pyridinecarboxa mide), C18H22N4O2, contains a crystallographic centre of inversion, wi th only half of the molecule constituting the asymmetric unit. There a re intermolecular N-H ... O=C hydrogen bonds [N ... O2.996 (2) Angstro m] present in the structure.
