Abstract
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a highly malignant tumour. It presen ts a considerable management problem. In this review the natural histo ry of HCC is summarized. Surgical and non-surgical treatment modalitie s are reviewed. Finally, combined treatments are described.
