Abstract
Di-tert-butyldichlorosilane yields with methylamine (CMe(3))(2)Si(NHMe )(2) 1. The dilithium-derivative of 1 (2) reacts with PF3 to give the cyclodiphosph(III)azane, [(CM(3))(2)SiFNMe-P-NMe](2), 3. The dithiocyc lodiphosph(V)azane; [(CMe(3))(2)SiFNMe-SP-NMe](2) 4 is formed by treat ment of 3 with sulfur. Reaction mechanisms and crystal structures are discussed.
