Abstract
Artificial cultivation of oyster mushrooms on lignocellulosic material s involves the pretreatment of the substrate with hot water to ward of f the competing molds during the spawn run. An inexpensive anaerobic p retreatment of the cellulosic materials has been suggested as an alter native to the conventional hot-water treatment. Copyright (C) 1996 Els evier Science Ltd.
