Abstract
Intrinsic kinetic parameters for anaerobic sludge immobilised in polyu rethane foam matrices treating a glucose based substrate were estimate d under negligible mass transfer resistance in shaker incubator experi ments. Micro-granules detachment due to high rotational agitation spee ds was found to affect the results.
