Abstract
H-1 and C-13 NMR spectra of CDCl3 extracts of quarter-gram samples of liverworts show that Adelanthus decipiens contains 1,2-dimethoxy-3,4-m ethylene-dioxynaphthalene and 1,4-dimethoxy-2,3-methylene-dioxynaphtha lene, and that Plagiochila atlantica contains the 2,3-secoaromadendran e plagiochiline C.
