We point out that the recent proof of the Kupershmidt-Wilson theorem b y Cheng and Mas-Ramos is underpinned by the Poisson Lie property of th e second Gel'fand-Dickey brad(et. The supersymmetric Kupershmidt-Wilso n theorem is also proved alone; the same lines.
