Abstract
We report a child with scalp aplasia cutis congenita, whose mother was
treated with methimazole during pregnancy. The relationship between a
ntithyroid drug administration during pregnancy and the occurrence of
scalp defects is discussed, and the pertinent literature is reviewed.
