Abstract
We investigate for two-Higgs-doublet models with intrinsic CP violatio n in the scalar potential CP-nonconserving effects in unpolarized gamm a gamma --> t (t) over bar for a range of neutral Higgs boson masses w hich includes resonant phi production and the subsequent decay of phi --> t (t) over bar. The importance of taking into account, even in the resonant case, the interference with the nonresonant background is sh own. Further, we propose and calculate three asymmetries which efficie ntly trace CP-violating effects in gamma gamma --> t (t) over bar usin g semileptonic t (t) over bar decays.
