Abstract
Remote Sensing Fourier Transform Infrared Emission Spectroscopy was ap plied to the study of Freon-12 thermal fragmentation in alcohol / air flame. The concentration of the products and the temperature of the fl ame were calculated. The results show that, this method can be used to monitor freons. In addition, this method has potential in combustion chemistry, for combustion characteristics call be given by measuring t he spectral lines and calculating.
