Abstract
Experimental evidence of a new type of radical characteristic of swift heavy ion radiation is provided and a related structure is proposed t hat is consistent with what is known about ionizing radiation effects in PVDF and a related copolymer (PVDF-TrFE). The effect of the tempera ture is studied.
