Abstract
In this paper, we study the long time behaviour of the solutions for t he generalized derivative Ginzburg-Landau equation in two spatial dime nsions. We show the existence of the global attractor for this equatio n and establish the estimates of the upper bounds of Hausdorff and fra ctal dimensions for the global attractor.
