Abstract
The dinuclear complex [Cu(2)L(2)(mu-OH)(mu-C6H5CO2)][ClO4](2) (L = 1,4 ,7-trimethyl-1,4,7-triazacyclononane) has been synthesized and charact erized by X-ray crystallography and from temperature-dependent suscept ibility measurements which established a moderately strong, intramolec ular, antiferromagnetic exchange coupling (J = - 66 cm(-1), H = - 2JS( 1) . S-2, S-1 = S-2 = 1/2) and a magneto-structural correlation betwee n the Cu-O-Cu angle and J for complexes containing a Cu-2(II) mu-hydro xo-mu-carboxylato core.
