Abstract
Piezoelectric materials used in sensors. After the general basis on pi ezoelectricity and ferroelectricity were reminded, the elaboration pro cesses of ceramic materials are reported as well as the encountered di fficulties. Other forming techniques are also pointed out. The applica tion of PZT type materials to sensors is given. Some new sensor struct ures are described.
