Surface potential measurements for improving GASFET. The main criteria
of gas sensor devices are the sensitivity and the selectivity towards
the gas to be detected. A way to improve these properties is the surf
ace modification by species able to catalyze the gas/solid interaction
s. The influence of the deposition of Pd nanoparticles on the behavior
of SnO2 structures in contact with various gases (H-2, CO) has been i
nvestigated by using both surface potential and conductance measuremen
ts.
