Abstract
SnO2-CuO composite ceramics have been synthesized by pyrolisis of an a erosol. The total resistance of the pure SnO2 sample is mainly due to the grain boundaries and the adsorption on these boundaries of gaseous species leads to a high capacitance value. n-type SnO2/p-type CuO com posite materials exhibit a particular capacitance response, due to n-p junctions.
