Abstract
The preparation of cyclic alpha-hydroxyalkyl alpha-amino esters, the r ing size of which varies varies from 4 to 7 members, in enantiopure fo rm is readily achieved by intramolecular alkylative cyclisation of oxa zolidine precursors.
