Abstract
Isoxazolidine and dihydropyran spiro derivatives can be easily transfo rmed, by hydrolysis and hydrogenolysis, to give delta-keto esters, del ta-keto acids, beta-amino esters, beta-amino acids and 3-amino alcohol s in good yields, Starting from optically active compounds enantiomeri cally pure products are obtained, In some cases, reactions were induce d by microwave irradiation.
