Abstract
We present QCD corrections to the Drell-Yan process in the transversel y polarized, longitudinally polarized, and unpolarized cases. The anal ytical results are presented in a form valid for all n-dimensional reg ularization schemes. A universal mass factorization scheme is presente d in which the results reduce to those of dimensional reduction. The c onnection between the parton distributions and fragmentation functions of dimensional reduction and those of dimensional regularization is e lucidated in a simple manner. Numerical results are presented for prot on-proton collisions at energies relevant to the BNL Relativistic Heav y Ion Collider. The perturbative stability of the transverse and longi tudinal asymmetries is investigated.
