Abstract
The generator for uncorrelated Gaussian random numbers, described here with C-source-code, Is considerable faster than the known methods. Th e simulation time decreases approximately by a factor 4.3 to 8.4, depe nding on the desired quality of the statistical characteristics which can be controlled by two parameters, Simulation results and a detailed analysis of different algorithms confirm this fact.
