Abstract
The reaction between alpha-trimethylsilylvinyl carbanions and carboxyl ic acid derivatives gives alpha,beta-unsaturated carbonyl compounds wh ich, under the reaction conditions, undergo further conjugate addition , Further reactions can also occur, depending upon the reactivities of the enolates and of the carboxylic acid derivatives.
