E. Scheer et al., GEOMETRY DEPENDENCE OF THE CONDUCTANCE FLUCTUATIONS IN METALLIC NANOSTRUCTURES, Physica. B, Condensed matter, 218(1-4), 1996, pp. 85-88
We investigate fluctuations in the magnetoconductance of noble-metal n
anostructures in a mesoscopic two-lead configuration. The samples are
gold and silver wires with lengths 500 and 1000 nm and widths w betwee
n 45 and 340 nm. The correlation field B-c varies as w(-1). Furthermor
e, the angle theta between the direction of the magnetic field and the
current is changed continuously from 90 degrees(usual geometry) to 0
degrees. The dependence of B-c on theta is weaker than B-c proportiona
l to B-c perpendicular to/sin theta.
