Abstract
An analysis is presented of the angular correlation between KCL fluore scence photons and subsequently emitted L(2,3)-M(2,3)M(2,3) Auger elec trons following K-shell ionization. The relative intensities of the Au ger lines change in the coincidence experiment compared to the normal L(2,3)-M(2,3)M(2,3) Auger lines measured after direct 2p photoionizati on. A theoretical model is introduced to account for angular correlati on effects and applied to reproduce experimental findings.
