In this work we present the semiclassical formalism of relativistic el
ectron scattering from two-centre potentials. The numerical results fo
r the computation of cross sections have been developed and tested for
the first time. Earlier results were;limited up to the calculations o
f phase shifts only and thus had limitations for the application to pr
actical cases. The expressions used for developing the programmes of g
eneral formulae for cross sections and the different parameters, i.e.
separation constants lambda(ml)(c), normalization constants N-ml(c), a
ngular function S-ml(c, cos omega), expansion coefficients d(n)(c\m, l
) and phase shifts sigma(ml)(c) have also been presented. The behaviou
r of the results of cross sections have been compared with those for t
he case of a one-centre potential in the limit of the intercentre dist
ance approaching zero.
