Abstract
Portable and stationary direct-reading instruments for fibre measureme nt can be used to detect fibres (length 2 to 300 mu m, diameter 0.2 to 20 mu m). The paper describes constructive and functional characteris tics of some of these instruments and presents their fields of applica tion.
