Abstract
The kinetics of the luminol oxidation with ferricyanide in the presenc e of O-2 were studied. A new radical ion mechanism for the process was proposed, and the rate constants of individual steps were determined. The standard one-electron potential of luminol dianion oxidation was estimated.
