A HARDWARECOMPILER FOR RNS-BASED CIRCUIT SYNTHESIS

In this paper a new strategy for the automated circuit synthesis based on Residue Number Systems is presented. The proposed method is using a special purpose HDL and various commercial software-standards in the area of circuit synthesis. A comparison of design results with earlie r published procedures demonstrates the advantage of the improved appr oach. In addition the newly developed strategy can be used as a starti ng point for the residue arithmetic based High-Level-Synthesis of comp lete VLSI Systems.
