Abstract
In this work, an analysis is given to evaluate the potential risk invo lved in areas exposed to microwave radiation from radar systems. The s tudy includes the state of the art regarding the hazardous effect of m icrowave radiation, exposure limits in view of the latest internationa l recommendations and the site information needed to evaluate the safe ty conditions. A case study is given to demonstrate how to handle simi lar problems.
