Vs. Burakov et Sn. Raikov, INVESTIGATION OF SPECTRAL-LINE PROFILES B Y INTRACAVITY LASER SPECTROSCOPY METHOD, Doklady Akademii nauk BSSR, 40(1), 1996, pp. 42-45
The experimental and theoretical profiles of atomic and ionic absorpti
on lines, obtained by intracavity laser spectroscopy (ICLS) with broad
band tunable dye lasers, are studied. The following objects, to be pro
bed in laser cavity, have been chosen: plasmas plume, formed under act
ion of laser radiation on a surface of aluminium target; pulsed electr
ic discharge in helium or xenon; vapour-gas medium of thermal atomizer
with impurities of barium, caesium and thallium, introduced into a fu
rnace, The shape of line profile, its width, the shift of line centre,
resolved line structure are investigated. The efficiency of the ICIS
is demonstrated for diagnostics of plasma with a prevalence of differe
nt mechanisms of spectral line broadening.
