ribed, unusual clinical presentations or the involvement of unusual ba
cteria, Bacillary angiomatosis, non-tuberculous mycobacteria, toxinoge
nic A streptococci and Stenotrophomonas (Xanthomonas) maltophilia repr
esent some of the most uncommon cases of skin bacterial infections tha
t were reported last year. This review briefly describes the main sign
s and symptoms and also proposes the most efficient treatments to be u
sed in the management of such difficult cases.
