Abstract
Gamma-rays following the decay of the neutron-rich isotope Ag-124 have been studied at the ISOLDE facility using a chemically selective lase r ion source. Excited structures beyond the first 2(+) level in Cd-124 have been identified for the first time, and are discussed in terms o f a recent anharmonic vibration model.
