Aa. Tulapurkar et al., LIFETIME AND G-FACTOR MEASUREMENTS OF THE 11(-) ISOMER IN TC-92, Physical review. C. Nuclear physics, 54(6), 1996, pp. 2904-2909
The half-life (T-1/2) and g factor of the 2002 keV 11(-) isomer in the
odd-odd nucleus Tc-92 produced by the pulsed heavy-ion reaction Zn-68
(Si-28,p3n)Tc-92 have been measured using time differential perturbed
angular distribution method. The measured T-1/2 value is 3.15(20) ns.
From the observed spin precession frequency omega(L) of a Tc-92 recoil
implanted into a ferromagnetic Ni host, we obtain the g factor to be
0.806(20). The measured value of the g factor is in good agreement wit
h a shell model analysis carried out using pi(p(1/2)g(9/2)) and nu(p(1
/2)g(9/2)) orbitals for the proton particles and neutron holes outside
the Sr-88 core.
