We report an observation of a dynamical transition in the Wigner solid
on liquid He-4. The AC conductivity sigma(xx) jumps abruptly at a cer
tain input voltage. The threshold input voltage V-th for the sigma(xx)
jump varies as V(th)proportional to B--0.8 f(-1)n(s)(1.5) E perpendic
ular to, where B, f, n(s), and E perpendicular to are magnetic field,
frequency, electron density and pressing electric field, respectively.
We interpret the sigma(xx) jump as the collective sliding of the elec
trons out of the periodic deformation of the He surface.
