Abstract
The objective of this work was to see whether the cristallinity loss, determined by XRD, and observed in zeolites containing NiO and/or WO3, must be corrected by the absorption coefficient of the amorphous VV a nd Ni phases. Three mechanical mixtures NiO and ultrastable zeolite, U SHY, were prepared, with 2.0-10.0% weight NiO and, four mixtures of WO 3 and USHY, with 5.0-20.0 weight WO3. The influence of NiO and WO3 pha ses in the cristallinity of USHY zeolite was studied, and it was compa red with W/USHY and Ni/USHY catalysts.
