INFLUENCE OF BENZYL THIOCYANATE ANALOGS AND SOME OF THE OXIDATIVE-PHOSPHORYLATION UNCOUPLERS ON THE PRODUCTION OF CHLORTETRACYCLINE BY STREPTOMYCES-AUREOFACIENS
M. Sturdikova et al., INFLUENCE OF BENZYL THIOCYANATE ANALOGS AND SOME OF THE OXIDATIVE-PHOSPHORYLATION UNCOUPLERS ON THE PRODUCTION OF CHLORTETRACYCLINE BY STREPTOMYCES-AUREOFACIENS, BIOLOGIA, 51(3), 1996, pp. 285-287
Benzyl thiocyanate, benzyl isothiocyanate, dibenzyl disulphide, carbon
yl cyanide, p-chlorophenylhydrazone and bikaverin enhanced the product
ion of chlortetracycline by Streptomyces aureofaciens. Some of them pr
oved to be oxidative phosphorylation uncouplers, thus they can affect
the production of chlortetracycline by S. aureofaciens.
