Efficacy of VAM fungus Glomus fasciculatum (Thaxt. Sensu Gerd.) Gerd.
& Trappe, was evaluated towards amino acid levels in Prosopis cinerari
a under glass house conditions. Total twelve amino acids were quantifi
ed in mycorrhizal and non mycorrhizal plants. VAM inoculation resulted
in increased level of all the amino acids as compared with control. T
he investigation can be important for production of highly nutritive l
eafy fodder of P. cineraria.
