Abstract
This article deals with tile design of an unsegmented-flow injection m anifold for the simultaneous determination of adrenaline and noradrena line two structurally related compounds with overlapping spectra. An F IA manifold is proposed for the simultaneous determination in which th e sample solution is directly injected into a carrier-reagent stream o f aqueous NaOH. The selected wavelengths (first derivative) were 394 a nd 342 nm, for noradrenaline and adrenaline, respectively with an inte gration time of 0.4 s. The calibration graphs are linear over the rang e 2.0-30 ppm for both drugs. The method is applied to different synthe tic mixtures of both drugs.
