Abstract
A possibility of obtaining highly pure aluminomagnesium spinel from do uble aluminum magnesium isopropoxide is demonstrated. The main stages of this process - synthesis of double isopropoxide, its exhaustive pur ification by distillation at low pressure, and subsequent hydrolysis - are investigated. The characteristics of the alumino-magnesium spinel obtained are presented.
