Mi. Volodicheva et Kv. Lopukhov, EFFECT OF THE SPHERICITY OF AN ACOUSTIC-WAVE ON ITS REFLECTION FROM APLANE INTERFACE BETWEEN 2 FLUIDS, Acoustical physics, 42(5), 1996, pp. 624-626
The effect of the sphericity of an acoustic wave on its reflection fro
m a plane boundary between two liquid media is investigated in a situa
tion when the reflection coefficient can change its sign in reflection
. An exact solution is presented as a real-valued integral over a fini
te path, which is convenient for computations. The reflection coeffici
ent calculated as a function of time is plotted for various media. For
mulas obtained in this paper together with those presented in our prev
ious work [12] are used to calculate reflected spherical waves of any
form and duration at arbitrary distance from the source and far any pa
rameters of contacting liquids.
