Abstract
Sensitivity evaluation of overall performance of hollow fiber membrane s was performed to study the effects of such operating parameters as p ressure, packing density, and fiber diameter. It is shown that in a wi de range of operating conditions, fiber productivity and selectivity a s dependent upon hollow fiber length exhibit a similarity property. Th is is demonstrated in all three flow configurations of concurrent, cou ntercurrent, and flow inside hollow fibers.
