Abstract
The data of the ultra-violet spectra and the equilibrium dialysis prov e that both 1 : 1 systems of Ni(I)-HSA and Ni(I)-BSA have two strong c oupling metal-centers with their LMCT hands showing a novel hypochromi c effect, This effect is in consistent with the mechanism of dipole-di pole interaction between the electric dipole transition moments oi chr omophores.
