STUDIES ON VOLTAMMETRIC BEHAVIOR OF L-CYS TEINE AT SILVER MICRODISK ELECTRODE

In this paper, the voltammetric behavior of L-cysteine at silver micro disk elelectrode in 0.2 mol/L HAc-NaAc buffer solution was investigate d, The mechanism of electrode reaction was discussed. The possibility af the determination of L-cysteine by cathodic stripping voltammetry w as examined experimentally. The dependence of reduction peak current o f Ag(L-Cys) an the L-Cys concentration in the range of 5.0x10(-5)simil ar to 2.0x10(-3) mol/L is linear. The method has been used for determi nation of mixed samples with satisfactory results.
