Abstract
Five new compounds were isolated from fruits of Iryanthera paraensis: (2S, -methoxy-phenyl)-7-propenyl-2,3-dihydro-benzo[1,4] dioxane, (2S, 3S, (9'-phenyl-n-nonyl)-3-hydroxy-4-methyl-butanolide; (2S, 3R, (9'-ph enyl-n-nonyl)-3-hydroxy-4-methyl-butanolide; (2S, 3S, 1'-phenyl-n-unde cyl)-3-hydroxy-4-metyl-butanolide; and (2S, 3R, '-phenyl-n-undecyl)-3- hydroxy-4-methyl-butanolide.
