Abstract
Complexation of the title compound (6, n = m = 2) with a range of cati ons has been examined in solution by H-1 and C-13 NMR spectroscopy and the solid state structure of the binuclear cryptate of 6 with calcium triflate determined by X-ray crystallography. The isolation of a trim er, diazacyclooctadecane-7,16-dicarbonyl)trisferrocene is also reporte d.
