Abstract
The idea of Gauge-Yukawa Unification (GYU) based on the principle of r eduction of couplings is elucidated. We show how the observed top-bott om mass hierarchy can be explained in terms of supersymmetric GYU by c onsidering an example of the minimal supersymmetric GUT.
