EXACT SOLITON-SOLUTIONS TO COUPLED NONLINEAR SCHRODINGER-EQUATIONS WITH HIGHER-ORDER EFFECTS

We derive the exact bright and dark soliton solutions of a set of coup led nonlinear Schrodinger equations with higher-order linear and nonli near dispersion terms included, ibr a specific set of parameters by us ing the Hirota bilinear approach, so as to get some ideas about the ro le of these terms for coupled soliton dynamics. Further, by considerin g the additional nonlinear effects resulting from the delayed nonlinea r response, we have noted corresponding changes in the above soliton s olutions.
