B. Costes et Y. Henry, DEVELOPMENT AND CHARACTERIZATION OF NEW FIRE-RETARDANT COMPOSITES, Polymer degradation and stability, 54(2-3), 1996, pp. 329-332
Fire, mechanical and thermal properties of novel fire retardant compos
ites developed in the BRITE-EURAM 4412 Programme have been assessed wi
th typical materials currently used in aerospace, such as epoxy based
materials for structural parts and phenolic based materials for intern
al furnishing. These newly developed materials (neat resins and compos
ites) present a significant improvement in their properties from 40 to
70% without loss of thermal and mechanical behaviour (C) 1996 Elsevie
