Abstract
The mechanical properties of catgut (biodegradable material) have been investigated and Presented in graphical manner. Two techniques (a) ri ngs and (b) mesh have been used to study the ability to hold the fract ured bones. A comparison of the mechanical properties of catgut with t hose of bones has been carried out.
