Dp. Bhatt et al., STRUCTURAL MODELING OF FRACTALS TOWARDS ELECTROCHEMICAL SURFACE TECHNOLOGY, INDIAN JOURNAL OF ENGINEERING AND MATERIALS SCIENCES, 3(5), 1996, pp. 207-214
The fractal geometry has been considered as a powerful tool to charact
erise the metal solution interface in terms of the surface roughness b
esides having its widely published utility in Chemistry and physics. T
his paper describes the brief account on the generation of the Mandelb
rot Apple-tree sets with an emphasis on deterministic and stochastic f
ractals and also would concentrate on the build-up of impedance diagra
ms of different complex equivalent circuits by viewing the surface thr
ough fractal patterns. A general simulation programme for the calculat
ion of Nyquist plots with respect to fractal electrode-electrolyte int
erface has been developed and the implications of this model for elect
rochemical surface technology are discussed.
