We investigated two classes of organic charge transfer complexes in th
e TTF family and related materials, in order to aim at the development
of novel magnetic systems. The first one is the complexes with transi
tion metal d-electrons having localized magnetic moments, where the pi
-electrons in organic donors play an important role in the exchange in
teraction mechanism between the Localized magnetic moments of d-electr
ons. The second class is obtained on the basis of the localized magnet
ic moments of pi-electrons, where the on-site Coulomb interaction in o
rganic donors overwhelms the transfer integral.
